  1. I wanted to share my experience in case it helps someone else because I honestly thought I’d lost everything. Last week, my external hard drive suddenly became unreadable. Windows kept asking me to format it, and I had over 300GB of photos, videos, and work files on it. Long story short: it was a nightmare. I looked into a few tools and ended up trying EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard Professional. I’ll be honest I wasn’t expecting miracles. But I was shocked at how well it worked. Here’s exactly what I did: Step 1: Downloaded & Installed EaseUS Took about 2 minutes. Very clean install, no extra junk. Step 2: Selected the Crashed Drive Even though Windows couldn’t read the drive, EaseUS still recognized it instantly. Step 3: Quick Scan & Deep Scan The quick scan found some files fast, but I let the deep scan finish (it took ~2 hours for my 1TB drive). Step 4: Previewed My Files Before Recovery You can actually preview photos, documents, etc., before recovering them — super helpful to check if the files are intact. Step 5: Recovered to a Different Drive I saved all recovered files to another working drive (important: don’t recover to the same disk you're scanning!). What I Recovered: Thousands of photos (JPEG, RAW, PNG) Old video project files (MP4, MOV, even a few .PRPROJ) Office documents from years ago A full client folder I thought was gone for good Tips From My Experience: Be patient during the deep scan. It takes time, but it’s worth it. Use the filter option to narrow down file types (e.g., only search for videos or documents). Recover ASAP don’t keep writing new data to the damaged drive. Final Thoughts: EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard Professional isn’t magic, but for me, it was the closest thing to a time machine. If you’ve accidentally deleted files, formatted a drive, or had a device crash I highly recommend trying it.
